I heard back from my date this morning. I told him that I thought he had written me off. He was totally surprised. I didn't get a text or an email all day Sunday.
My old "baggage" came back to haunt me. I thought I was being rejected again. He is a totally new person. He is not responsible for injuries from men in my past.
He doesn't even know about how horribly I've been hurt in the past. Besides that, he's a man. To him it's probably no big deal not to hear from someone for a day.
Another lesson learned.
